HealthSpan Solutions, LLC is a leading consumer-driven healthcare company focused
on the delivery of nutritional solutions that will improve the total quality “healthspan”
of the consumer. After five years and $10 million of National Institutes of Health-funded
research, HealthSpan has determined the most important nutrients needed to address
and effectively manage health-specific conditions facing boomers. This breakthrough
research was led by HealthSpan’s world-renowned scientists in geriatrics research
from the University of Arkansas’ Reynolds Institute on Aging in Little Rock and
Tufts University Research Center on Nutrition and Aging in Boston.
These findings have resulted in the development of a proprietary blend of ingredients
of specialized protein types and forms. No longer is balanced nutrition about the
total amount of nutrients or calories. It’s more about specialized benefits and
outcomes based on a specialized mix of essential amino acids and leucine — the most
critical of all amino acids found in proteins. The difference is Therapeutic Nutrition™.
